RicoTown은 따뜻한 감성과 도시적인 세련미가 공존하는 사운드를 들려주는 밴드다.
Lofi-jazz, Neo Soul, City Pop Jazz 등 다양한 색깔을 유연하게 넘나들며, 재즈의 화성미와 현대적인 프로덕션을 결합해 ‘도시의 감정’을 음악으로 풀어낸다.

‘준킴 트리오(2012)’, ‘준킴 감성주의(2014)’, ‘준킴 감성주의 트리오(2023)’에서 그루브와 서정성을 보여준 기타리스트 준킴과 ‘양화대교’의 세션을 맡았던 베이시스트 민진을 중심으로 섬세하고 탄탄한 연주력을 지닌 기타리스트 수민과 키보디스트 이재형, 그리고 사운드 밸런스와 질감에 탁월한 감각을 지닌 유민이 합류하며 RicoTown만의 따뜻하고 입체적인 사운드가 완성되었다.

데뷔곡 〈공항〉은 한국을 떠나는 이들의 마음을 담은 곡으로, 단순한 멜로디 속에 복잡한 감정의 결을 담아낸다.
RicoTown은 이 곡을 시작으로, 도시의 정서와 인간적인 온기가 공존하는 새로운 재즈 사운드를 만들어간다.

기타리스트 준킴과 피아니스트 이한빈은 10년 전 스승과 제자로서 음악적 인연이 시작되었다.
그 후, 각자의 행로를 따라 음악활동을 더해갔던 그들은 10년 만에 다시 준킴의 작업실에서 재회했다.

지나온 삶의 변화와 경험들을 말로써 이야기하는 대신, 그들은 오랜만에 마주한 자리에서 연주로 그 대화를 대신했다.

RicoTown is a band that blends warm sensitivity with urban sophistication.
Drawing from lofi-jazz, neo soul, disco jazz, and city pop jazz, their sound moves fluidly between styles — combining jazz harmony with modern textures to capture the emotional rhythm of city life.

Led by guitarist Jun Kim, whose previous works — Jun Kim Trio (2012), Jun Kim Sentimentalism (2014), and Jun Kim Sentimentalism Trio (2023) — showcased both groove and lyrical depth, RicoTown marks a natural evolution of his musical journey.
The group features Minjin, a skilled bassist known for her work on “Yanghwa Bridge”; Sumin and Jaehyung Lee, whose playing brings fresh yet grounded energy; and Yumin, whose refined sense of sound balance shapes the band’s unique tone.

Their debut single “Airport” expresses the emotions of those leaving home — a calm mixture of anticipation, regret, gratitude, and love.
Through this song, RicoTown takes its first step toward crafting a warm, layered jazz sound that gently embraces the modern city.
